After another washout last week saw our tough trip to 4th place Copthorne postponed, and following our early exit from the Sussex Intermediate Cup, we have a rearranged League game away at Littlehampton Utd. With 3 home games to follow, we know a 3 point return is the aim to keep on the tails of runaway leaders Montpelier Villa.
Our hosts have had a mixed start to the season, and are currently 11th in table with 7 points, their 2 wins coming from completing the double over Rottingdean Village. Beeding ran out 4-1 winners when we met in the reverse fixture in September at UBMF with Rowland x 2, Harding and Taylor the scorers.
We know we can expect another tough encounter, and in Foxon and Boutwood they carry plenty of goal threat. Should be a good game.
Hopefully the forecast for footie action will be good, much depending on a dry morning needed Saturday, as our Reserves return to League action with a trip to our friends at Petworth with the pitch in the lovely setting next to Petworth Park.
