The first team start the 2019/20 season away to Worthing Town this Saturday.
The long summer without football is over and competitive league action returns for the first team this weekend as they travel to Palatine Park to face Worthing Town.
After an up and down pre season which saw some good wins against Storrington and Cuckfield and a loss on penalties to Steyning we enter the season hoping for an improvement on last seasons 12th placed finish.
With a lot of new players integrated into the squad over the summer and the return of some familiar faces we will need to gel quickly.
Worthing Town look to have made some very good signings and will want to carry on the good form shown towards the end of last season that saw them end Rustington’s unbeaten season on the final day.
